I be bloggin'

So now that the album's out, I gotta few other things to set in motion.  I have my financial goals.  But I can't reach such goals without an income.  So I'm still working on finding a job.  I also have my career goals.  As of now, that is being a freelance composer for games (and maybe film).  As of now, I'm setting this up.  No moves made, just placing my pieces on the board.

The real point of this post here is to announce that my dad helped me come to the idea of using this track my progression as a musician/composer/whatever.  "You mean that wasn't the point of this whole blog in the first place?"  Well, it was an option, but I was also hoping to come up with topics to discuss and elaborate, including tutorials, comparisons, reflections, etc.  Quite frankly it seems that I'm not that creative, so these topics don't just come to me.

They're out there.  Sittin' there looking at me from wherever they like to hide.

On that note, this entry is here to say that more are coming.  My life is my topic (where it is relevant to my goals mentioned).

Don't mind the odd title.  I dunno what I was thinking but I'm leaving it.

Keep you eyes and ears open, as well as your mind.

So one day...

I was on my computer.

Nothing special. (lol)

But as was checking out my CDBaby account I realized something: there were listings confirming the existence of my album being distributed to other online stores…

and that they were there since last year!!!

*facepalm*

I'm a week late on announcing that Shades of Life is (or has been) available in many other online stores other than CDBaby, including both Amazon and iTunes.  Just google my name ("Kordel").  I plan on posting links to all of them in the near future in case you still really need help.

In all seriousness it'd only be proper to put them somewhere.  At least until the next album comes out. =D

EDIT: After making the links that are to the right (as of this post), I have to admit not all stores are posted.  I personally could not find yet the album at the following locations: Last.fm, Simfy, Nokia Music (US site not ready?), and "24-7" (I'm not sure if I could even find the site this refers to).

In other news, I've been tweaking my laptop visually.  (Click the read more thingy if you're interested)

Merry Christmas!

Are you enjoying your holidays?  I got a bass guitar!

Weeeee!

Anyways, I got something else.  For you all.  Here.  I could lie and say that this was my plan the whole time but it wasn't.  For those who don't trust my link there, it's to my e-release of Shades of Life on CDBaby.

It is ON SALE!  Soon it will pop up on other stores such as Amazon, iTunes, etc etc—look I'll tweet or something when and where it pops up when it does.  Different stores have their own timelines that are outside of my control so bear with me.  It could take weeks.  Sorry.

Well I'm not gonna spend my Christmas typing out a long entry.  Enjoy your holidays and support my music at your own leisure.

And as always…
Keep your ears and eyes open, as well as your mind.

Oh btw: there are new tracks that are not on my SoundCloud or on my demonstration CD that I handed out, just so you know.
